Wish I could get there, for all those upcoming shows [DWB, Jing-Chi, CV Mem., etc.]
VC.com - is the webmaster Sergio Belotti? U say he teaches @ BSOM now. Is he teach'g kit?

It would make sense that Vinnie might be availble for this gig after finishing the Jing Chi gigs at Yoshi's...but the Creatchy website posted the foloowing:

Why would they make Vinnie the speical guest when he would be a huge draw??? I've never seen this type of gig w/o Vinnie's name in bright lights. Just wondering? Gregg Bissonette is a great player and has played on all the Vega tribute CD's I have as well as Vinnie, but I would mostly go to see VC at $25 and $40 a pop plus 2 drinks.

yeah, the CV concert is always too much $$ for me. someone gave me a recording of last year's concert and while Vinnie sounds great, the music is mostly cheese/wank that I could do without paying big bucks for.

vinnie is playing for the 5th annual carlos vega memorial birthday concert at lavelee on dec. 18th. there will also be tons of other great artists as well. check it out.. www.vinniecolaiuta.com
i won't be back in LA until the 19th so i'll miss out but i hope many of you can go and post on here how it went. have fun!
the webmaster for vinniecolaiuta.com is now a teacher at berklee and i always tell him to update the site. he's finally getting to it.
